国有独资企业江西印刷集团公司前身江西印刷公司，始建于1952年4月，1995年5月经南昌市人民政府批准由原江西印刷公司与原江西商标彩印厂改组成立集团。现隶属于南昌工业控股集团有限公司。
江印集团位于江西省省会城市---南昌，地处南昌市站前西路121号，市区西南部，抚河东岸，距南昌火车站、汽车站各约一公里，交通十分方便。集团公司现有总资产3.1亿元，在岗员工549人，其中各类专业技术人员116人。公司生产区占地面积4.4万平方米。企业已通过ISO9001质量管理体系认证和ISO14000环境管理体系认证，是国家新闻出版总署命名的全国书刊印刷定点企业和江西省政府采购公务印刷定点企业，江西省税务、财政、交通、电信等各种票据指定印刷企业。

BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO JIANGXI PRINTING GROUP CORPORATION
Jiangxi Printing Group Corporation is an exclusively state-owned enterprise out of the former Jiangxi Printing Company established as early as in April 1952, and subject to the approval of Nanchang Municipal People's Government in May 1995, the former Jiangxi Printing Company and Jiangxi Trademark & Color Printing Works were reorganized into the present group corporation directly under Nanchang Municipal State-Owned Industrial Assets Operation and Management Co., Ltd.
The Group is located at No.121 West Zhanqian Road of Nanchang, capital city of Jiangxi Province. It is within the southwestern part of the city proper and on the eastern bank of the Fuhe River, only one kilometer approximately from the railway station and passenger bus station of Nanchang, being quite convenient in transportation. Now the Group has RMB 187 million yuan of total assets and 602 regular staff and workers, and its plant occupies a land area of as large as 44,000 square meters. The Group is strongly technical staffed and with advanced printing equipment, which has passed the certification of ISO9001 quality management system and is undergoing the certification of ISO14000 environmental management system. The Group is a designated enterprise of the State Press and Publications Administration to print books and periodicals nationwide and also a designated enterprise of Nanchang and Jiangxi Province to print bills for taxation bureaus, financial authorities, traffic controls and telecommunications.
In the very beginning of 1990s, the Group carved out a new way of export-oriented economic development. Favored by its advantages from successful technical innovations and great devotions to the attraction of outside investment, it has established the joint ventures and introduced the foreign investment equivalent to nearly two million US dollars, from which it has achieved remarkable economic and social benefits, and as a result, it has been conferred many times to the honorary titles of Top 100 Enterprises of the same industry nationwide and National Excellent Packaging Enterprise. In 2003, the Group was honored the May 1st Labor Prize of Jiangxi Province by the General Trade Union of Jiangxi Province and also the titles of Top 20 Industrial Enterprises for Tax Payment and Top 30 Enterprises for Sales Income in Nanchang.
Directly under the Group there have established four exclusively state-owned branch companies respectively for multi-color printing, books and periodicals printing, bills printing and carton printing and other three joint ventures of independent legal personality, such as Jiangxi Supreme Source Color Printing Inc. (jointly with Taiwanese businessman), Jiangxi Hengfa Metal Printing Co., Ltd. (jointly with businessman from Hong Kong) and Jiangxi Sharp Graphic Art & Printing Co., Ltd. The Group is equipped with 6-color gravure printing lines from Italy, 5-color offset press lines from German HEIDEBURG and Japanese KOMORI, 4-color offset press lines from Japanese MITSUBISH, electronic separate printing and flexo printing press lines from Britain, high-grade corrugated cardboard and carton printing press lines from Taiwan and rotary printing press lines of commercial forms and bills from Japan.
The Group is mainly engaged in the printing of package decorations, books and periodicals, newspapers, color labels, bills, metal packages, crown caps, high-grade corrugated cardboards and cartons of big width, etc.
In order to enlarge the scale of production and reinforce the economic strength of the Group constantly, the four branch companies directly under the Group have invested a sum of RMB 80 million yuan on a joint basis to establish a new company namely Jiangxi Xinchuang Printing Co., Ltd. in the Changdong Industrial Park of Nanchang, in which an additional investment of 40 million Hong Kong dollars is required from outside. The new company is expected to achieve an annual sales income of RMB 80 million yuan and an annual profit of RMB 18 million yuan from the sales of its products.
